Scheduling Market Manager

Under the general direction of the Patient Financial Services Director, the Manager of Market Central Scheduling will primarily be responsible for coordinating, planning all operations and integration of information for the Market Central Scheduling department.
The Manager interprets policies and procedures, recommends changes as appropriate, and provides relevant feedback to the Patient Financial Services Director.
Minimum EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent Required Minimum Work Experience2-4 years' experience in a medical environment (hospital ancillary department, doctor's office, x-ray lab), preferably with additional exposure to a related field such as registration, claims and patient financial services, or other ancillary department experience, etc.
A broad employment history in these settings will be most helpful.
In addition applicant will have 2-5 years' experience in management.
Must possess a working knowledge of commonly used healthcare concepts, practices, and procedures with particular emphasis on Outpatient Services.
Requires a demonstrated ability to evaluate a patient's medical history via chart notes or other clinical source and accurately apply it to commercial insurance utilization criteria.
1 year in customer service or similar role.
